WORD OF THE DAY:

(John 10:27,28)

27. "My sheep listen to My voice: I know them, and they follow Me. 

28. "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of My hand."

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:

FASTING:

(Matthew 6:16-18)

16. "When you fast, do not look sombre as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.  

17. "But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, 

18. "So that it will not be obvious to men that you are fasting, but only to your Father, Who is unseen; and your Father Who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."

28. "En Ek gee hulle die ewige lewe, en hulle sal nooit verlore gaan tot in ewigheid nie, en niemand sal hulle uit My hand ruk nie."

16. "En wanneer julle vas, moenie lang gesigte trek soos die geveinsdes nie, want hulle mismaak hul gesigte, sodat hulle deur die mense gesien kan word dat hulle vas. Voorwaar Ek sê vir julle, hulle het hul loon weg. 

17. "Maar jy, as jy vas salf jou hoof en was jou gesig,

18. "Sodat jy nie die mense laat sien dat jy vas nie, maar jou Vader wat in die verborgene is; en jou Vader wat in die verborgene sien, sal jou in die openbaar vergelde."

As dit die wil van God is en deur Sy wonderbare genade en barmhartigheid, sal ek die Woord met u deel so dikwels as wat ek moontlik kan.)
