WORD OF THE DAY:
[Romans 14:11,12]
11. It is written: "As surely as I live," says the Lord, "every knee will bow before Me, every tongue will confess to God."
12. So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.
MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
INNER HEALING:
Part 5.
Sarah was desperate when she came to speak to me. "I feel as though I am too filthy to even pray to the Father," she said. "How could He ever forgive what I have done in the past?"
I reminded her of this powerful portion of Scripture in Isaiah:
[Isaiah 1:18] "Come now, let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."
Sarah meditated on that for a while and then she said: "That's good. I understand and appreciate that, but now God has allready put cancer on my body to punish me." That was a lie from satan!
I had to explain that God does not make us sick. He sent His One and Only Son to heal us and save us from destruction:
"He sends forth His Word and heals them and rescues them from the pit of destruction." (Psalm 107:20). And also as the Prophet Isaiah prophesied: "But He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement {needful to obtain} peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes {that wounded} Him, we are healed and made whole." (Isaiah 53:5)
But first and most important of all, Sarah had to forgive everyone who transgressed against her. Her first reaction was: "No, never!"
But the power of the Word was there to convince her: We studied the relevant portions of Scripture and then prayed together. She mentioned the names of the man and his wife, and then told the Lord that she forgave them and set them free.
The "burden of hatred" lifted from her shoulders. At last she was free!
[Matthew 6:14-15]
14. For if you forgive people their trespasses {their reckless and willful sins, leaving them and letting them go, and giving up resentment,} your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
15. But if you do not forgive men their sins and trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your sins and trespasses.
[Matthew 18:21-22]
21. Then Peter came to Jesus and asked: "Lord, how many times may my brother sin against me and I forgive him, and let it go? Up to seven times?"
22. Jesus answered: "I tell you, not up to seven times, but seventy times seven!"
[Ephesians 4:31-32]
31. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
32. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ, God forgave you.

WOORD VAN DIE DAG:
[Romeine 24:11,12]
11. Want daar is geskrywe: "So waaragtig as Ek leef," sê de Here. "Voor My sal elke knie buig, en elke tong sal God bely."
INNERLIKE GENESING:
Deel 5.
Sarah was desperaat toe sy my kom sien het.
Haar eerste reaksie was: "Nee, nooit!"
Uiteindelik was sy vry!
[Mattheus 18:21-22]
21. Toe kom Petrus na Hom en sê: "Here, hoe dikwels sal my broeder teen my sondig en ek hom vergewe? Tot sewe maal toe?"
(God willing and by His marvellous grace and mercy, I will share with you again tomorrow.
