PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Dear Lord God Almighty, thank you for this new day and new year in our lifes. Thank you Lord for a new beginning. Help us Father God to keep our eyes fixed upon You and to trust you like little children, unwavering in our faith. When we pray Lord, help us not to doubt because Your Word says he who doubts, is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind, because then we won't receive anything from You. 

Help us to have unwavering faith Lord, so that we can speak to our mountains and command them to depart and to be planted in the sea. And Your Word also says that the prayer of the righteous avails much and that the prayer of the upright pleases You. May our prayers please You O Lord, we ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. 

Thank You for Your Precious Holy Spirit that You gave unto us. He is our Helper, our Friend, our Comforter and our Councillor. Help us to hear His voice dear Lord.

We are hopeless without You, wonderful Holy Trinity. We fell from Your presence when sin came into the world through Adam and Eve. 

Thank you Lord that you so loved the world that You gave Your One and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. Please Father God be gracious unto us and give us new life, joy and preace.

We don't know when Jesus will be coming on the clouds to fetch us Father God, but help us to be ready. Please let the blood of Jesus wash away all our sins and transgressions. Forgive our sins and write our names in the Lamb's Book of Life. 

Be gracious and kind and forgiving dear God, because Your Word says we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We ask this Lord in faith believing. In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Amen and amen.
