HEALING ON THE SABBATH / GENESING OP DIE SABBATDAG.

WORD OF THE DAY:

(Mark 11:22)

And Jesus, replying, said to them: "Have faith in God, (constantly).

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:

HEALING ON THE SABBATH:

(Matthew 12:9-14)

9. And going on from there, He went into their synagogue. 

10. And behold, a man was there with one withered hand. And they said to Him, "Is it lawful or allowable to cure people on the Sabbath days?" - that they might accuse Him.  

11. But He said to them: "What man is there among you, if he has only one sheep, and it falls into a pit or ditch on the Sabbath, will not take hold of it and lift it out?

12. "How much better and of more value is a man than a sheep! So it is lawful and allowable to do good on the Sabbath days."

13. Then He said to the man: " Reach out your hand." And the man reached it out and it was restored, as sound as the other one. 

14. But the Pharisees went out and held a consultation against Him, how they might do away with Him.

(Markus 11:22)

Jesus antwoord en sê vir hulle: "Julle moet geloof in God hê."

 

BOODSKAP VAN DIE DAG:

GENESING OP DIE SABBATDAG:

(Matthéüs 12:9-14)

9. En Hy het daarvandaan weggegaan en in hulle sinagoge gekom. 

10. En daar was 'n man met 'n verdorde hand, en hulle het Hom gevra en gesê: "Is dit geoorloof om op die Sabbat gesond te maak?" - sodat hulle Hom sou kon aanklae.  

11. Maar Hy sê vir hulle: "Watter mens sal daar onder julle wees wat een skaap het, en as dit op die Sabbat in 'n sloot val, dit nie sal gryp en uithaal nie?

12. "Hoeveel meer is 'n mens dan nie werd as 'n skaap nie! So is dit dan geoorloof om op die Sabbat goed te doen."

13. Toe sê Hy vir die man: "Steek jou hand uit!" En hy het dit uitgesteek, en dit is herstel, gesond soos die ander een. 

14. Daarop het die Fariseërs uitgegaan en saam raad gehou teen Hom, sodat hulle Hom sou kan ombring. 

(God willing and by His marvellous grace and mercy, I will share the Word with you as often as I possibly can.

As dit die wil van God is en deur Sy wonderbare genade en goedertierenheid, sal ek die Woord met u deel so dikwels as wat ek moontlik kan.)
