WORD OF THE DAY:

(Mark 11:25)

"And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses."

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:

JESUS TRANSFIGURED ON THE MOUNT: 

1. English - (New English Translation)

(Mark 9:2-8)

2. Six days later Jesus took with Him Peter, James and John and led them alone up a high mountain privately. And He was transfigured before them. 

3. And His clothes became radiantly white, more so than any launderer in the world could bleach them. 

4. Then Elijah appeared before them along with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus.  

5. So Peter said to Jesus: "Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us make three shelters - one for You, one for Moses and one for Elijah" 

6. (For they were afraid, and did not know what to say.)

7. Then a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came from the cloud: "This is My One dear Son. Listen to Him."

8. Suddenly when they looked around, they saw no one with them any more except Jesus.

"En wanneer julle staan en bid, vergeef as julle iets teen iemand het, sodat julle Vader wat in die hemele is, ook julle oortredinge mag vergewe."

(Markus 9:2-8)

2. En ná ses dae het Jesus vir Petrus en Jakobus en Johannes saamgeneem en hulle alleen op 'n hoë berg in die eensaamheid geneem; en Hy het voor hulle van gedaante verander,

3. En Sy klere het blink geword, baie wit soos sneeu, wit soos geen bleiker dit op aarde kan maak nie.  

4. En daar het aan hulle verskyn Elia saam met Moses, en hulle was in gesprek met Jesus.   

5. Toe spreek Petrus en sê vir Jesus: "Rabbi, dit is goed dat ons hier is. Laat ons dan drie hutte maak: vir U een en vir Moses een en vir Elia een."

6. Want hy het nie geweet wat om te sê nie, want hulle was heeltemal verskrik.  

7. En daar kom 'n wolk wat hulle oordek; en daar kom 'n stem uit die wolk wat sê: "Dit is My Geliefde Seun, luister na Hom."

8. En meteens kyk hulle rond en sien niemand meer by hulle nie, behalwe Jesus alleen.

As dit die wil van God is en deur Sy wonderbare genade en goedertierenheid, sal ek die Woord met u deel so dikwels as wat ek moontlik kan.)
