WORD OF THE DAY:
[Psalm 145:14]
The Lord upholds all those (of His own) who are falling, and raises up all those who are bowed down.
MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
PSALM 66.
1 English - (Amplified Bible Version)
[Psalm 66:1-12; 19-20]
1. Make a joyful noise unto God, all the earth;
2. Sing forth the honour and glory of His Name; make His praise glorious!
3. Say to God: "How awesone and fearfully glorious are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power shall Your enemies submit themselves to You (with feigned and reluctant obedience.)
4. "All the earth shall bow down to You and sing praises to You; they shall praise Your Name in song." Selah (pause and calmly think about that!)
5. Come and see the works of God; see how (to save His people, He smites their foes; He is) terrible in His doings toward the children of men.
6. He turned the sea into dry land, they crossed the river on foot; there did we rejoice in Him.
7. He rules by His might forever, His eyes observe and keep watch over the nations; let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah (Pause and calmly think of that)!
8. Bless our God, O peoples, give Him grateful thanks and make the voice of His praise be heard,
9. Who put and kept us among the living, and Has not allowed our feet to slip.
10. For You, O God, have proved us; You have
tried us as silver is tried, refined, and purified.
11. You brought us into the net, (the prison, fortress, the dungeon); You laid a heavy burden upon our loins.
12. You caused men to ride over our heads (when we were prostrate); we went through fire and through water, but You brought us out into a broad, moist place, (to abundance and refreshment and the open air).

19. But certainly God Has heard me; He Has given heed to the voice of my prayer.
20. Blessed be God, Who Has not rejected my prayer, nor removed His mercy and loving-kindness from being (as it always is) with me.

1. Juig tot eer van God, O ganse aarde!
2. Besing die eer van Sy Naam, maak heerlik Sy lofsang!
3. Sê tot God: "Hoe vreeslik is U werke! Deur die grootheid van U Sterkte, sal U vyande kruipende na U toe kom.
4. "Laat die hele aarde U aanbid en psalmsing tot U eer; laat dit U Naam verhef in psalmgesang." Sela.
5. Kom en aanskou die dade van God, Hy wat gedug is in werking oor die mensekinders.
6. Hy het die see verander in droë land; hulle het te voet deur die rivier gegaan. Daar was ons bly in Hom.
7. Hy heers vir ewig deur Sy mag; Sy oë hou wag oor die nasies. Laat die wederstrewiges hulleself nie verhef nie. Sela.
8. Loof volke, onse God, en laat hoor die stem van hom wat roem -
9. Wat aan ons siel die lewe gee, en nie toelaat dat ons voet wankel nie,
10. Want U het ons getoets, O God, U het ons gelouter soos 'n mens silwer louter.
11. U het ons in die net gebring, 'n swaar las op ons heupe gelê.
12. U het mense oor ons hoof laat ry; ons het in die vuur en in die water gekom, maar U het ons uitgelei in die oorvloed.

19. Waarlik, God het gehoor; Hy het geluister na die stem van my gebed.
20. Geloofd sy God wat my gebed nie afgewys, en Sy goedertierenheid aan my nie onttrek het nie.
