WORD OF THE DAY:
(Proverbs 26:2)
Like a fluttering bird or like a flying swallow, so a curse without cause does not come to rest.
MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
PROVERBS 5, First section ...
1. English - (New English Translation)
(Proverbs 5:1-7)
1. My child, be attentive to my wisdom, pay close attention to my understanding.
2. In order to safeguard discretion, and that your lips may guard knowledge.
3. For the lips of the adulterous woman drip honey, and her seductive words are smoother than olive oil,
4. But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.
5. Her feet goes down to death; her steps lead straight to the grave.
6. Lest she should make level the path leading to life, her paths are unstable but she does not know it.
7. So now children, listen to me; do not turn aside from the words I speak.
Maandag 2 November 2015.
WOORD VAN DIE DAG:
(Spreuke 26:2)
Soos die voëltjie wegfladder, soos die swaeltjie wegvlieg, so is 'n vervloeking sonder oorsaak: dit kom nie uit nie.
BOODSKAP VAN DIE DAG:
SPREUKE 5, Eerste gedeelte ...
2. Afrikaans - (Ou Afrikaanse Vertaling)
(Spreuke 5:1-7)
1. My seun, luister na my wysheid, neig jou oor tot my insig,
2. Dat jy volle oorleg kan behou en jou lippe kennis kan bewaar;
7. Luister dan nou na my julle seuns, en wyk nie af van die woorde van my mond nie.
(God willing and by His marvellous grace and mercy, I will share some of the Proverbs with you, as often as I possibly can. /
As dit die wil van God is, en deur Sy wonderbare genade en barmhartigheid, sal ek sommige van die Spreuke met u deel, so dikwels as wat ek moontlik kan.)
