IT IS WELL WITH THE MAN WHO DISTRIBUTES FREELY TO THE POOR AND THE NEEDY:

Part 2.

1. English - (Amplified Bible Version)

[Psalm 112:9]

9. He has distributed freely, (he has given to the poor and needy;) his righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God) endures forever; his horn shall be exalted in honour.

[2 Corinthians 9:6-8]

6. Remember this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously (that blessings may come to someone), will also reap generously and with blessings.

7. Let each one give as he has made up in his mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, 'prompt to do it') giver (whose heart is in his giving.)

8. And God is able to make all grace (every favour and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be, self-sufficient (possessing enough to require no aid or support and funished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation.)

9. Pe. Hy strooi uit, hy gee aan die behoeftiges; Sade. Sy geregtigheid bestaan tot in ewigheid; Kof. Sy horing word verhoog in eer. 

[2 Korinthiërs 9:6-8]

6. Maar dink daaraan: Wie spaarsaamlik saai, sal ook spaarsaamlik maai; en wie volop saai,  sal ook volop maai.

7. Laat elkeen gee soos hy hom in sy hart voorneem, nie met droefheid of uit dwang nie, want God het 'n blymoedige gewer lief.

8. En God het mag om alle genade oorvloedig oor julle te laat wees, sodat julle altyd, in alle opsigte volop kan hê en oorvloedig kan wees tot elke goeie werk.
