[Isaiah 40:30-31]

30. Even youths grow tired and weary and young men tumble and fall;

31. But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

31. Maar die wat op die Here wag, kry nuwe krag; hulle vaar op met vleuels soos die arende; hulle hardloop en word nie moeg nie, hulle wandel en word nie mat nie.

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:

SEEDS OF FAITH:

In Genesis 8:22 we have the beginning of what I have been led to call our  BLESSING-PACKED COVENANT with God, in which we plant our seeds of faith into His fields. Then He will "multiply our seed sown." 2 Corinthians 9:10.) Time and time again you will see the key word: BLESSING as we go through the Bible. Ten generations after Noah we will meet Abraham, with whom God started what we now call the "Old Covenant,in which God said: "I will BLESS you and make you a BLESSING."

These 9 words condense for us the ultimate plan and purpose of God, for US who believe Him.

In Genesis 8:22 het ons die begin van wat ek noem die GELOOFS-OOREENKOMS met God, waar ons, ons geloof-saad plant in God se saailand, sodat Hy die "saad wat ons in geloof gesaai het, kan  vermenigvuldig." ( 2 Korinthiërs 9:10)

Ons sal herhaaldelik die sleutelwoord SEËNINGE sien as ons deur die Bybel gaan. 

Tien generasies na Noag sal ons Abraham ontmoet, met wie God die Ou Verbond gesluit het, en God het vir hom gesê: " Ek sal jou SEËN en jou 'n SEËNING maak."

Hierdie nege woorde is vir ons 'n samevatting van die groot plan en doelstelling van God, vir ONS wat glo.
