WORD OF THE DAY:
[James 5:15-16] 15. And the prayer (that is) of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will restore him; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
16. Confess to one another therefore your faults, (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins), and pray also for one another, that you may be healed and restored (to a spiritual tone of mind and heart.) The earnest, (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available, dinamic in its working.)
MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
INNER HEALING:
Part 7.
Time moved on and Sarah became restless and more and more doubtful and desperate. She was suddenly also full of mistrust and despondency. "Something like supernatural healing does not exist," she decided at last, sadly.
As soon as time permitted I went to pray with her again. "Let's go and put this before the Lord," I suggested. Sarah looked at me in complete surprise. "What do you mean?" she said. "But we have been talking to the Lord all along!" she exclaimed at last.
I opened my Biible and started reading from Isaiah 43:25-26:
25. "I, even I Am He Who blots out and cancels your transgressions, for My own sake, and I will not remember your sins.
26. "Put Me in remembrance (remind Me of your merits); let us plead and argue together. Set forth your case, that you may be justified, (proved right)."
We started praying and I pleaded with the Lord, reminding Him that Sarah rejected hatred and unforgiveness, that she gave her heart to Jesus and that she started a new life. "Please Lord, I pleaded: "Let the blood of Jesus cover her now, and let the "Resurrection Power" of Jesus flow through her body." We also reminded the Father of what is written in His Word, namely:[Romans 8:11] "And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, (then) He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead, will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you."
We also started reading relevant verses to the Lord, aloud:
[Psalm 123:2] "As the slaves look to the hand of their master; as the eyes of the maid look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God - till He shows us His mercy."
[1 John 3:21-22]
21. "And, beloved, if our conciences (our hearts) do not accuse us (if they do not make us feel guilty and condemn us), we have confidence (complete assurance and boldness) before God.
22. "And we receive from Him whatever we ask because we (watchfully) obey His orders (observe His suggestions and injunctions, follow His plan for us) and (habitually) do those things that are pleasing to Him."
[Hebrews 4:16] Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God's unmerited favour to us sinners), that we may receive mercy (for our failures) and find grace to help in good time for every need (appropriate and well-timed help, coming just when we need it.)
We could feel the awesome wonder of God's presence. It was so absolutely and miraculously wonderful! So we kept on praying softly.
Prompted by the Spirit, I started singing some of my favourite songs to the Father. I don't have the most wonderful voice, but I was convinced that it sounded "sweet" to the ears of the Lord:
"Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee . . . "
"Come, now is the time to worship, Come, now is the time to give your heart . . ,"
"Lord You are more precious than silver.
Lord You are more costly than gold . . ."
"Let's forget about ourselves, concentrate on Him, and worship Him . . ."
"I lift my hands to the Coming King, to the Great I Am - to You I sing . . . "
I encouraged Sarah to sing with me.
We sang together, so that we could magnify, glorify, praise and worship the Lord. We had to show the Lord that we love Him and trusted Him wholeheartedly, - - for Sarah's complete recovery.
With every breath we had to draw closer to God. We had to concentrate on Him alone."
[James 4:7-8] 7. Therefore, submit to
God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
8a. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.
Without any doubt, we could sense the presense of God Almighty. because It is also written that God "inhabits the praises of His people." (Psalm 22:3) And also in verse 5b: "They trusted, and were not ashamed."
To make a long story short - suddenly the pain and discomfort left Sarah's body. "It is such a strange warm feeling," she confessed, with tears streaming down her face. She immediately made an appointment with her docter, and when tests were done, there was no sign of cancer in her body. Praise God, our Great Physician - JEHOVAH RAPHA healed Sarah's body. (We have put our trust in Him - and were not ashamed!!)
HAPPY ENDING: Sarah is getting married end October. WHAT A GREAT AND MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE!

WOORD VAN DIE DAG:
[Jakobus 5:15-16] 15. En die gebed van die geloof sal die kranke red, en die Here sal hom oprig. Selfs as hy sonde gedoen het sal dit hom vergewe word.
16. Bely mekaar julle misdade en bid vir mekaar, sodat julle gesond kan word. Die vurige gebed van 'n regverdige het groot krag.
BOODSKAP VAN DIE DAG:
INNERLIKE GENESING:
Deel 7.
Die tyd het aangestap en Sarah het al hoe meer rusteloos, moedeloos en desperaat geword. Sy was skielik weer vol twyfel en argwaan. "Iets soos bonatuurlike genesing bestaan nie," het Sarah in 'n staat van moedeloosheid en hartseer besluit.
Sodra ek tyd kon inruim, het ek weer saam met haar gaan bid. "Kom ons gaan stel jou saak voor die Here," het ek voorgestel:" Sarah het my aangekyk in totale verbasing: "Maar ek dog dan dis wat ons nog die heeltyd doen!" het sy oplaas uitgeroep.
Ek het my Bybel oopgemaak en begin lees by Jesaja 43:25-26:
25. "Ek, Ek is dit wat jou oortredinge uitdelg om My ontwil, en aan jou sondes dink Ek nie.
26. "Maak My indagtig; laat ons teen mekaar pleit; vertel jy, dat jy in die gelyk gestel kan word."
Ons het begin bid en die Here daaraan herinner dat Sarah haat en onvergewensgesindheid uit haar lewe geweer het, en dat sy haar hart aan Jesus gegee het. "Asseblief Vader," het ek begin pleit: "laat die bloed van U Seun Jesus Christus haar nou bedek, en laat die krag van Sy opstanding deur haar liggaam spoel, sodat sy volkome genees kan word. Ek herinner U aan wat geskrywe staan in U Woord:
[Romeine 8:11] "En as die Gees van Hom wat Jesus uit die dode opgewek het, in julle woon, dan sal Hy wat Christus uit die dode opgewek het, ook julle sterflike liggame lewend maak, deur Sy Gees wat in julle woon."
Ons het nog relevante verse hardop voor die Here begin lees.
[Psalm 123:2] Kyk, soos die oë van die knegte is op die hand van hulle heer; soos die oë van die diensmaagd is op die hand van haar meesteres, - - so is ons oë op die Here onse God, totdat Hy ons genadig is.
[1 Johannes 3:21-22]
21. "Geliefdes, as ons hart ons nie veroordeel nie, dan het ons vrymoedigheid teenoor God;
22. "En wat ons ookal bid ontvang ons; omdat ons Sy gebooie bewaar en doen wat welgevallig is voor Hom.
[Hebreërs 4:17]
"Laat ons dan met vrymoedigheid na die troon van genade gaan, sodat ons barmhartigheid kan verkry, en genade vind om op die regte tyd gehelp te word."
Ek kon die wonder van God se teenwoordigheid aanvoel, en het saggies biddende gebly.
Dit was so absoluut wonderbaarlik! Ek kon merk dat Sarah ook besig was om dit te ervaar, en aangemoedig deur die Gees, het ek saggies sommige van my gunsteling liedere begin sing. Ek glo nie ek het die wonderlikste stem nie, maar ek glo dit het "soet" in die ore van die Vader geklink:
"Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee . . ."
"Come, now is the time to worship,
Come, now is the time to give your heart . . ."
"Lord You are more precious than silver, Lord You are more costly than gold . . ."
"Let's forget about ourselves, concentrate on Him and worship Him . . ."
"I lift my hands to the Coming King, to the Great I Am - to You I sing . . ."
Ek het Sarah aangemoedig en verduidelik dat ons die Vader moes begin vereer en loof en prys en aanbid in vertroue vir haar totale genesing. Ons moes die Vader wys dat ons Hom liefhet en Hom heelhartiglik vertrou. . Met elke asemteug moes ons aan Hom dink en Hom vereer en op Hom konsentreer.
God was onteenseglik daar teenwoordig! Ons kon Sy Wonderbare teenwoordigheid aanvoel en ervaar. Daar staan ook geskrywe:
"Hy is die Heilige wat woon onder die "lofsange" van Sy mense, [Psalm 22:4] en ook in vers 6b: "Hulle het op Hom vertrou, en het nie beskaamd gestaan nie."
Om 'n lang storie kort te maak - skielik het die pyn en ongemak uit Sarah se liggaam verdwyn. "Dis so 'n snaakse warm gevoel," het sy deur baie trane bely. Sy het onmiddelik 'n afspraak met haar dokter gemaak en nadat allerhande toetse gedoen is, het hulle bevind dat daar geen kanker in haar liggaam teenwoordig is nie.
Prys die Here. Die Groot Geneesheer het Sarah se liggaam genees. (Ons het ons vertroue in die Here gestel, en ons het nie beskaamd gestaan nie!!)
GELUKKIGE EINDE: Sarah gaan einde Oktober in die huwelik tree. WAT 'N GROOT EN ALMAGTIGE GOD AANBID ONS!!
(As God wil en deur Sy wonderbare genade en barmhartigheid sal ek volgende week verder met u deel.)
