WORD OF THE DAY:
(Proverbs 17:28)
Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue. 

MESSAGE OF THE DAY: 
PROVERBS 13, Second section ... 
1. English - (New English Translation).
(Proverbs 13:9-16)
9. The light of the righteous shines brightly, but the lamp of the wicked goes out. 
10. With pride comes only contention, but wisdom is with the well-advised. 
11. Wealth gained quickly will only dwindle away, but the one who gathers it little by little, will become rich. 
12. Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is like a tree of life. 
13. The one who despises instruction  
will pay the penalty, but whoever esteems instruction will be rewarded.  
14. Instruction from the wise is like a life-giving fountain, to turn a person from deadly snares. 
15. Keen insight wins favour, but the conduct of the unfaithful is harsh. 
16. Every shrewd person acts with knowledge, but the fool displays his folly.

(Spreuke 13:9-16)
9. Die lig van die regverdige brand vrolik, maar die lamp van die goddelose gaan dood. 
10. Vermetelheid gee net getwis af; maar by die wat hulle laat raai, is wysheid. 
11. Goed wat uit niks verkry is, word minder; maar hy wat met die hand bymekaar maak, kry altyd meer. 
12. 'n Uitgestelde hoop maak die hart siek; maar 'n wens waf uitkom is soos 'n lewensboom.
13. Wie die Woord verag, moet dit ontgelde; maar hy wat die gebod vrees, ontvang vergelding. 
14. Die onderrig van die wyse is 'n fontein van die lewe; om die strikke van die dood te ontwyk. 
15. 'n Goeie verstand verskaf guns, maar die weg van die ontroues is hard. 
16. Elke skrandere handel met kennis, maar die dwaas strooi sotheid rond. 

(God willing and by His marvellous grace and mercy, I will share some PROVERBS with you as often as I possibly can. /
As dit die wil van God is, en deur Sy wonderbare genade en barmhartighrid, sal ek sommige SPREUKE met u deel so dikwels as wat ek moontlik kan.)
