Weekend 3 & 4 September 2016.
WORD OF THE DAY:
(2 Timothy 1:14)
Guard and keep (with the greatest care) the precious and excellently adapted (Truth) which has been entrusted (to you), by the (help of) the Holy Spirit Who makes His home in us.

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
STEPHEN'S SPEECH CONTINUES, Seconc section ...
(Acts 7:22-32)
22. "So Moses was trained and educated in all the wisdom and culture of the Egyptians, and he was mighty (powerful) in his speech and deeds.
23. "But when he was about forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his kinsmen, the children of Israel (to help them and to care for them).
24. "When he saw one of them being hurt unfairly and unjustly treated, he defended the oppressed man and avenged him by striking down the Egyptian, and slaying (him).
25. "He thought his own people would understand that God was granting them deliverance by his hand (taking it for granted that they would accept him); but they did not understand.
26. "The next day Moses saw two men fighting and quarreling among themselves, and he urged them to make peace and become reconciled, saying: 'Men, you are brethren; why do you abuse and wrong one another?'
27. "Whereupon the man who was unfairly hurting and abusing his neighbour, pushed Moses aside, saying: 'Who appointed you a ruler (umpire) and a judge over us?
28. "'Do you want to to kill me as you slew the Egyptian yesterday?'
29. "At that reply Moses sought safety by flight and he was an exile and an alien in the country of Midian, where he became the father of two sons.
30. "After forty years had gone by, there appeared to him in the wilderness (desert) of Mount Sinai, an angel in the flame of a burning bramblebush.
31. "When Moses saw it, he was amazed at the sight, and marveled, but when he went close to investigate, there came to him the voice of the Lord, saying:
32. "'I Am the God of your forefathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.' Moses began to tremble, and did not dare to look closely."

Naweek 3 & 4 September 2016.

BOODSKAP VAN DIE DAG:
STEPHANUS SE TOESPRAAK DUUR VOORT, Tweede gedeelte ...
(Handelinge 7:22-32)
23. "En nadat hy die ouderdom van veertig jaar bereik het, het dit in sy hart opgekom om sy broers, die kinders van Israel, te besoek;

(God willing and by His marvellous grace and mercy I wiil share the Word with you, as often as I possibly can.     /
As dit die wil van God is en deur Sy wonderbare genade en barmhartigheid, sal ek die Woord met u deel so dikwels as wat ek moontlik kan.)

Many thanks to 'Christian Life of Faith' for ilustrating this very becoming and powerful verse in Mark 12:30.
