Abraham EXPECTED to RECEIVE (to be blessed) but NOT from those he had helped, . . . . But from the MOST HIGH GOD, POSSESSOR of heaven and earth. And also the Deliverer from all his enemies. AND THE ONLY ONE WHO would make him rich. Rich in the way riches are to honour God. Abraham gave, and he gave first. Abraham looked to God as his SOURCE. Abraham expected to receive his riches from God alone, his SOURCE OF TOTAL SUPPLY.

Abraham het VERWAG om te ONTVANG (om geseën te word), maar NIE van diegene wie hy gehelp het nie, . . . . MAAR VAN DIE ALLERHOOGSTE GOD, BESITTER van die hemel en die aarde. Die VERLOSSER van al sy vyande, en ook die ENIGSTE EEN wat hom kon ryk maak. Ryk in die sin van rykdom om God te vereer. Abraham het gegee, en het eerste gegee. Abraham het na God gekyk as sy BRON.
Abraham het verwag om sy rykdom te ontvang van God alleen, sy BRON VAN TOTALE VOORSIENING.
