For with God nothing is ever impossible, and no Word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.
MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
PROVERBS, Third section, ...
1. English - (Amplified Bible Version)
(Proverbs 1:21-33)
21. She cries at the head of the noisy intersections (in the chief gathering places); at the entrance of the city gates she speaks:
22. "How long, O simple ones (open to evil), will you love being simple? And the scoffers delight in scoffing and (self-confident) fools hate knowledge?
23. "If you will turn (repent) and give heed to my reproof, behold I, (Wisdom) will pour out my spirit upon you, I will make my words known to you.
24. "Because I have called you and you have refused (to answer), have stretched out my hand and no man has heeded it.
25. "And you treated as nothing all my counsel and would accept none of my reproof,
26. "I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when the thing comes that shall cause you terror and panic -
27. "When your panic comes as a storm and desolation and your calamity comes on as a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you.
28. "Then will they call upon me, (Wisdom) but I will not answer; they will seek me early and diligently but they will not find me.
29. "Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord.
30. "Would accept none of my counsel, and despised all my reproof,
31. "Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be satiated with their own devices.
32. "For the backsliding of the simple shall slay them, and the careless ease of (self-confident) fools shall destroy them.
33. "But whoso hearkens to me (Wisdom) shall dwell securely and in confident trust, and shall be quiet, without fear or dread or evil."

(Spreuke 1: 21-33)
21. Op die hoek van die rumoerige strate roep sy, by die ingange van die poorte - in die stad - spreek sy haar woorde:
22. "Hoe lank sal julle, eenvoudiges, die eenvoudigheid liefhê, en die spotters lus hê om te spot, en die dwase kennis haat?
23. "Wend julle tot my teregwysing, dan laat ek my gees vir julle uitstroom, wil ek my woord aan julle bekend maak.
24. "Omdat ek geroep en julle geweier het, ek my hand uitgestrek en niemand geluister het nie.
25. "En julle al my raad nie opgevolg, en van my teregwysing nie wou geweet het nie.
26. "Daarom sal ek ook lag by julle ondergang, ek sal spot as julle verskrikking kom;
27. "As julle verskrikking kom soos 'n onweer, en julle ondergang soos 'n stormwind aankom, as benoudheid en angs julle oorval.
28. "Dan sal hulle na my roep, maar ek sal nie antwoord nie; hulle sal my soek, maar my nie vind nie.
29. "Omdat hulle die kennis gehaat, en die vrees van die Here nie verkies het nie;
30. "Van my raad nie wou weet nie, al my teregwysinge verag het,
31. "Daarom sal hulle eet van die vrug van hulle wandel, en versadig word van hulle planne.
32. "Want hulle eie afkeurigheid maak die eenvoudiges dood, en hulle eie sorgeloosheid rig die dwase te gronde.
33. "Maar die wat na my (Wysheid) luister, sal veilig woon en gerus wees teen die skrik van die onheil."

As dit die wil van God Almagtig is, en deur Sy genade en barmhartigheid, sal dit vir my 'n vreugde wees om sommige van die SPREUKE met u te deel, so dikwels as wat ek moontlik kan.)
